Unless you have severe, widespread, and scarring acne, The Regimen is normally my suggestion for the most effective acne treatment.

I have been following the regimen precisely except that I have been using just enough BP to cover my skin. I haven't been bathing in it in other words, and my original tube of BP I bought for month 1 is still in use. I have been using 2 full pumps of moisturizer, jojoba oil in the evenings, and for the last 2 weeks have started using AHA with the moisturizer.

The AHA has helped a little with flakiness, but I literally have a layer of dead skin all over my face. I don't normally touch my face, but I ran my fingernail over a patch of skin on my face and it pulled off a big chunk of skin. I did this at a handful of other locations and literally my face is covered in a layer of dead skin. I am not using heroic amounts of BP, is this normal or am I sensitive to it? It is kinda scary that my face is like, falling off. I don't know how to reduce BP at this point without just reducing it to once a day like I did the first week. Should I consider this option?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I have relatively mild acne, so would once a day be enough? Or is this famous last words of somebody about to deviate from Dan's regimen too early?
