I've posted before with the products I have,
It has been roughly a month since I've started, and have a general routine, but I am trying to get a repetitive cycle.
I have Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser, Acne.org BP and 10% glycolic acid + cerave moisturizer in a tub. Plus some add ons like Stridex red box / Mint Julep mask.
AM - cleanse, BP, and Moisturize
PM - Cleanse, BP and Glycolic acid (occasional moisturizer) depending on feel of face.
I use the mask weekly on monday.
My main concern is should I be using the AHA (Glycolic Acid) morning rather than night? Should I be doing BP + layer of glycolic acid like I am.
I just really want that repetitive feel to make it routine.
My face doesn't really get irritated and a lot of what I have isn't really active acne, it is more like scarring or PIH with a couple white heads that pop up.
Let me know if you need pictures or any additional info please.
You can use AHA whenever you like. I prefer to use it @ night b/c it can cause the skin to become temporarily red, which isn't ideal during the daytime. And yes, you can use AHA over BP in place of your regular moisturizer. Or you can mix 1/2 AHA with 1/2 moisturizer, etc. Be sure to apply sunscreen.
Sounds good, I am not outside for very long, and a little sun isn't bad so I haven't really worn any, If I am out for long periods I will wear some.
Also I work around friend foods, and cooking in general what are your thoughts on cleansing 3 times a day?
It's unnecessary. If you sweat during the day, just pat dry and wait until the evening to cleanse again.
Ok thank you for the help! I am probably going to order a full kit from the site soon anyways.
It's a good idea. Follow the regimen precisely, and you'll get cleared up!
One last question, do you have any recommendations on Sunscreens? That doesn't leave any white cast?
