Week 4 Suddenly Dry; Help Please?

Hello y'all!

I've just hit Week 4 on the regimen and I've followed it religiously with really great results!! Had the first week expected dryness and flaking, but this subsided after my skin adjusted.

As directed after my skin adjusted, I increased my use of BP without any issues. However, in this last third week and up to now (a day out from 4 weeks) my skin has suddenly been very dry and parched and uncomfortable! I started adding more Jojoba oil (the Acne.org one, not an off brand) yesterday and today and I've felt no improvment.

My question for all you experts is should I just keep up with what I've been doing or reduce my BP application? Also wondering if adding the AHA+ (once I'm at a month) will help any or at all? Any suggestions or tips unrelated to my questions to help with the dryness would be greatly appreciated!!

If it's of any use to know, I'm 16 and my skin-type is combination, more on the oily side; so this prolonged dryness is odd for me to deal with!

Thanks so much to those who read and I hope you're having a wonderful day/night, whereever you may be! :)

If you need to back off on the bp for a couple of days to get through this rough patch, that's okay. Be generous with the extra jojoba oil drops at this time too (5-6 drops at each moisturizer application).

Here is more info on dryness and adding in the AHA. http://www.acne.org/regimen-help.html#dry

I have been on roacctuane for 3 months now and my skin is great!! I went through the dryness but just couldn't cope with how sore my lips were! But I've found a solution it works for face and lips and doesn't flare up spots as it isn't oily. It's called Dr paw paw it's 7 for a tube and it lasts for ages. It's saved my poor skin and lips and works in 2-3 days!! Get the yellow tube as the pink is coloured. Good luck I hope this helps!!
