Redness After Aha?

So I've been about a month on the regimen and I decided to incorporate Dan's aha into my regimen. I started doing this last weekend, I would mix half and half aha plus moisturizer. The thing is I use A LOT of moisturizer so a healthy amount of aha came with.

Jump to thursday and I notice the part of my face that I apply my regimen to (cheeks and around mouth) have turned a slight pink. It looks almost like a really mild sunburn? It doesn't hurt but it bugged me a bit so I stopped using the aha that day and havent used it since. The problem is it's Sunday and my skin is still a little pink in that area! It also feels different then it used to...less smooth and more rough I suppose? Is this caused by the aha and will it go away on its own? I feel like I've already given it enough time to pass but I just dont know. I've still been doing the regimen as normal but I toned down the bp amount by quite a bit hoping it wouldn't impede healing too much

Is there anything I can do? Was this even caused by the aha in the first place? I havent been getting any sun and I havent really noticed the skin redness before but it is kind of hard to notice

It has already been three or four days by now though, and Im not even sure this redness is fading yet. Is this normal?
