Hi guys,

So I've attached some pictures of my face 1 month - 1 week into the regimen. Currently I have 2 active acne spots on my face and lots of hyper-pigmentation. My question is am I ready for AHA+ Glycolic Acid 10%? Will this added step help me to reduce the hyper-pigmentation quicker? Thanks, I am also going to a doctor for a routine physical at the end of the week and I have good insurance again, should I ask for an oral acne medicine to take on top of the regimen? Thanks for you input!

Ok, thanks for the reply as always Control Panel, really appreciate it! I think that I will order it on my next shipment of the regimen for next month. Not really stinging anymore but still have lots of redness as the pictures show...

Personally glycolic acid never made a noticeable difference with my hyper pigmentation, however it did make my skin a lot smoother. It should be fine to start using it, as long as you remember to mix a little with your moisturizer.

I'd give the regimen more time before you decide to start using oral medicine. Best of luck on your journey to clear skin!

Thanks for the reply Mikkurs,

I am pretty happy with the regimen thus far, I am just thinking of maybe asking for an oral antibiotic on top of it because I don't know the next chance that I will get to ask the doctor for a prescription; unfortunately my insurance only gives me 1 covered physical a year...

No problem : )

Generally I'd advise people to stay away from oral acne medication due to the fact that It can cause more problems down the road. If the regimen seems to be working for you anyway I don't think it's worth the risk.
