Hello. I've been wondering... when did you all stop using the regimen?
I've been using the regimen for about 6 months now and the results are great.
All I have left now is a bit of red spots.
I want to stop using the regimen (mainly because my second batch of bottles is about to end and it's really expensive).
I tried stopping for like.. one day,, and it seemed like I was breaking out a bit so I went back on.
Is there a safe way to stop using the regimen?
I've read similar topics saying you are supposed to keep using it forever but I do not and will not be dependent on this.
This has been a tough few months for me and I wish to stop.
Anyone has any idea of what I can do or anyone who's successfully stopped the regimen please tell me about your experience.
Thank you!
Well, personally I don't use the Regimen products, I do the regimen with my own preferred store bought products. If I had to buy the Regimen stuff every time I ran out, I'd probably be searching for an end too. However, my stuff is affordable enough so that I see no reason to ever stop doing the regimen. It works, I'm still clear a year and a half later, and I feel my face has really found its perfect groove.
If you're interested in the store products I use, you can let me know and I'll list them for you. I've listed them out before but no one ever responds and I feel like no one cares. lol
Actually one of the three products is only available on Amazon now but I will buy it as long as it's available somewhere.

Ah thank you for replying. I'm actually not doing the regimen anymore. It was too much. My skin is pretty much clear. I only use the soap to wash my face twice a day and that's about it.
Which products do you use?
When stopping BP ,mi had the most awful acne flare up and a year later,my skin had not recovered (seems like permanent discoloration and eczema brought on by skin care products). My skin has become uber sensitive and I have awful acne to boot. I would suggest you get back on and slowly ween off as your skin may go through a shock.

I've found that most acne regimens, when I get off of them, only see my acne return when I still have to fix up something like my diet/lifestyle (cleanliness) or when I'm on ProActiv, which is a piece of crap.

Oh no. That sounds really unpleasent. I'm sorry it happened to you. Thanks for the advice. I did stop slowly. I just kinda used less and less bp every day. My skin looks okay other than some red spots that wont go away. I hope your skin gets better.

That just sucks... I hope I won't have terrible breakouts. I hope you can find something that works for you.]

i actually did, turns out my main poison was dairy. Getting rid of that cleared me up quite a bit.
You dont stop. Its a prevention not cure. I did try to get off it after one year. I had super clear skin. It was so clear that it got me thinking that acne would not be a prob anymore but oh boy it came back after a month. I went back on the regimen n got beautiful skin again
Since i am clear, i only apply bp, 2 pea size on the face only at night. You dont need that much.
Goodluck

I did stop.. and so far so good. I'm probably gonna look out for other ways if it will return.. I just don't have that kind of money to keep buying the regimen. Thanks for the reply and hope you keep clear.
Personally, I do not believe in relying on a product "forever." It's probably because my skin gets used to products and it stops working. I stopped using the Regimen after it cleared me up (3 months). I decreased the BP very slowly (I only used one pump of BP while I was on the Regimen anyway so it was not that hard to stop). Now I have a different skincare routine that is working great for me, but I will probably change it up at the end of the year. Hope this helps!
