Benzoyl Peroxide Getting In Hair

I'm a big fan of Dan's benzoyl peroxide, but with two full pumps of the stuff, it's impossible to keep it out of my hair and eyebrows. Once it gets caked on, it's nearly impossible to get out even if I wash it out, and it causes white flakes on my hairline, sideburns, and eyebrows that make it look like I have bad dandruff. I'll wash it out and get all of it out that I can, but later in the day, if I run my fingers through my hair, the flakes come back. They come back in my eyebrows throughout the day even if I don't touch them. I also have a moderate amount of facial hair / scruff, and the benzoyl peroxide cakes onto this as well. I'm positive that it's not just dead skin flakes from being on the regimen. It's actual benzoyl peroxide that's dried into gunk in my hair. Does anybody else experience this? What do you do to remedy it?

Well don't apply the benzoyl peroxide so close?

There's not a lot you can do other than keep it off of those areas and keep a wide circumference around those areas free of the benzoyl peroxide. If it is dry flaky skin, use the moisturizer there.
