So ive always had moderate acne for a couple of years but after starting the regimen (4th week in) i am planning to add in aha? What beenfits would the aha bring? I always need advice! I have a small red dot on my the right side of my face, theres no white head to it and IT LOOKS LIKE MY CHEEK BONE IS INFLAMMED do you think it's a cyst forming? I have been applying bp on it as a spot treatment.

Put a cream high in zinc oxide. I use desitin overnight. It takes all the inflamation, but nothing can stop the forming. A cream with zinc will reduce the redness and shrink it faster. As far as i know the aha is used for rejuvenating and exfoliation of dead cells. I dont think it will be helpful in this situation. Vicks vapo rub has also worked for me on cysts. Good luck!
