Hi you guys! So it's my fourth week on the Regimen and I've been using the Cetaphil Moisturizer. Can ANYONEEEE or Dan PLEASE PLEASE post a video on how to apply it gently without irritating my skin? The moisturizer is REALLY thick and it's takes me hours to get rid of the white residue that I have to GENTLY massage in. Thanks!!! and ALSO, I need your opinionsss. Do you guys think that Dan's moisturizer works better or the Cetaphil Moisturizer?
I'm assuming you are using the Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion. It s pretty much the same consistency as the Regimen moisturiser, maybe a little thicker, and absorbs quicker than Dan's.
It's pretty much the same deal as the moisturiser from the Regimen. There is already a video up on how to apply moisturiser on the regimen. Although in the video Dan is using his own moisturiser, the process should be the same with any other moisturising lotion.
If you are finding it too hard to spread, don't apply two pumps of it to your face straight away. Do half of that amount, until it is almost absorbed by your skin. Just gently spreading it across your face for up to 3 minutes. Then do the second half. It should absorb quite easily that way.
I've had experience with both and I love them for different purposes. Dan's moisturizer I prefer using during the day as it absorbs better than the Cetaphil. The Cetaphil I love for night time because it really moisturizes my face. It is too thick for me to use during the day though because it is hot and humid where I am from and it just looks like an oily mess for me.
Thank you guys! Well some people say that Dan'a Moisturizer makes your skin darker? And also, are you supposed to MASSAGE the Cetaphil Moisturizer into your skin or just use it the same way you use the bp? Will it absorb on its own and not leave a white residue?
Yes, Dan's moisturizer does make my skin darker. I still like it much better than Cetaphil. I hate Cetaphil, it made my skin so oily and it made me break out worse than anything.
