Sunscreen and skin don't mix, even more so if you have acne. The toxic chemicals in sunscreen is even worse for you than the sun itself! The chemicals are absorbed by the skin into the bloodstream within seconds! If only more people realized this but I guess you can't help most people.

Please stop scaremongering.
For physical sunscreens, that isn't true, because they sit on top of the skin. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2855360/?tool=pubmed
Chemical sunscreens penetrate a little deeper, but nowhere near toxic amounts. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1661631/ However, that can be influenced by the vehicle, and the newer sunscreens don't penetrate as much.

There really is no scaremongering involved. All chemicals applied to the skin absorb into the bloodstream. Most chemicals in sunscreen are more hazardous than the sun itself. You're actually likely to be more at risk from cancer or something else through sunscreen chemicals than you are from a bit of time in the sun. UV scare tactics is a very good marketing tool for sunscreen. The average person is actually nowhere near at risk from UV induced damage than what the media and pharmas would like you think.
Physical sunscreens do indeed sit on top of the skin, nicely blocking pores in the meantime. Most people do better without sunscreen, even people who spend moderate amounts of time in the sun.
