Im going to start doing and following the Regimen strictly. Instead of buying a kit here, im going to use what i have. A kit here is like $40, why drop that cash when i already have the stuff here available and can buy stuff at my local stores for cheaper? Anyways, please let me know what you think of the three things i will be using according to *The Regimen* (sounds magical huh? No? okay then.)
1. CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser - http://www.cerave.com/our-products/cleansers/foaming-facial-cleanser?tab=ingredients
2. Oxy Maximum Action Treatment Pads - http://oxyskincare.com/our-products/oxy-maximum-action-treatment-pads/
3. Olay Sensitive Moisture Therapy Lotion - http://www.acne.org/olay-sensitive-moisture-therapy-lotion-reviews-576/
So how does it sound? I believe the CeraVe cleanser is medication free, no salicylic acid, BP, etc. But one concern i have for it is that when i will be shaving with it, will it irritate? I ask because here it says not to shave with cleansers with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, this cleanser doesnt have it, but it does contain SODIUM LAUROYL SARCOSINATE and SODIUM LAUROYL LACTYLATE which sound similar and may have similar irritating effects, refer to the Cerave link for full ingredients. Will that cleanser be okay to use overall daily and okay to shave with?
Lastly, will those Oxy pads give me the same effects of regular BP creme or lotions? The pads contain 2.5% BP and i really hope they will work because its easier for me to just gently wipe a moist pad over my face rather than having to use a cream, im usually rushed in the morning to get ready for school.
Sorry for that long block of text above, but i really want to voice my concerns and plans. Please leave any and all feedback, help, and recommendations, please dont hold back. Thanks in advance!
I don't think the pads will work. One of the reasons the regimen is effective is because of the AMOUNT of BP. Try purchasing the on the spot treatment and follow the instructions. It takes time but is worth getting up earlier to get through all the steps. HTH's.
Do you know of any gel-type BP i can get in stores like target or drugstores? Any recommendations?

First to answer your question about the ceraVe foaming cleaners, I only ever really hear good things about it being a gentle non drying cleanser... I think it's more than fine.
I've always had a lot of troubles finding gel BP at the stores, some brands like "Spot-on" I found at my local drug store but they were like 10.99$ per 15ml which was outrageous. Sometimes you can get gel BP prescribed from your Dr. if you want to try that route. I just got Dans BP off amazon, the shipping is a little cheaper, and you really can't find anything better for the price.
Hope this helps! (:

Shipping prices depend on which country you live in. If your order is 40$ or more on the acne.org store shipping is free within the US.
