Acne.org Products
Hey everyone, I've recently started the acne.org regiment (2 weeks ago) and I've noticed that my skin is oilier than usual. Before using the regiment i used to have very oily skin but now its much worse. My skin is super oily! Anyways, i was wondering if that's a normal side effect and if there is something i can do about it.
*note: I've been using 1 pump of BP and 1 bump of Moisturizer - All the products i use were bought directly from acne.org

Perhaps Dan's moisturizer is too greasy for you? I know it didn't agree with my skin, I felt oiler and drier at the same time on his moisturizer. I now use Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion and it's done wonders for me.
I also use 4 drops of jojoba oil at night that I mix in with the Cerave, this may offer more hydration to your skin while also helping to control the oilies over time.
Yes I noticed the same. My guess would be that the skin upregulates oil production in response to the radicals BP makes in an attempt to protect itself. It went away after I stopped using BP (on two separate occasions), so I wouldn't worry about anything permanent.
Many people do not think that BP increases oil production. I'm sure it does for some and doesn't for others, depending on some factor, either genetic or nutritional, that has yet to be elucidated.
