I am on bactrim and almost completely clear. My fear is that I will break out after stopping the bactrim therefore I would like to start the regimen now while I have it under control. My question is, will I still purge.??????
Want to also say, my acne is moderate and came on due to having testosterone pellets inserted in my hip. So it's been about 3 months. The testosterone last up to 6 months. Hoping acne wears off when testosterone wears off but who knows. Should I just wait and see before starting the regimen?
It's really up to you if you want to get started on The Regimen now or wait and see, but seeing as you still have the Testosterone implant you are likely to still see breakouts resulting from that. Of course, that's not medical advice, but acne does tend to be aggravated by Testosterone. You might ask your doctor if acne is an expected side effect of the implant but I imagine it is.
As for whether or not you will purge, that really varies. If you get started on The Regimen a month or two before you are to stop the Bactrim, I doubt there would be too much of a purge but the first few months can feel like a roller coaster ride anyway.
