10 Weeks, Not Sure Where To Go From Here...

So, I am really frustrated. I have been on the regimen for 10 weeks now, and I can't say its any better. It did clear up my forehead, but now I have acne on my cheeks where I have never, ever had it before. And it is cystic. I have never in my life gotten cystic acne until now. I have no idea what I should do now.

It's really confusing, because the acne.org regimen cleared me up a few years ago and now it is not working. I don't think I would have suddenly become allergic to the products, so what could be the problem here?

I don't know if I should just stop? I might push to the 3 month mark, i'm already this far in.. but after that should I stop??? I feel like crying every time I look in the mirror and see 0 improvement :(.

If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it, I am at my wits end..

Hi I'm new to the regimen but I've heard of people in your situation before. The mistake that you did was years ago you went off the regimen. I've watched youtube videos of people going off the regimen, while being on it for 3 months and having clear skin; now when they start the regimen over again because they are experiencing breakouts again it seems it works but only at the cost of being a longer process than the first trial.

I say stick it out for the 3 month mark. If your not seeing results at that point I'd move on. You can email brandy at brandy@acne.org for regimen assistance. She can give you advice. You could judge if your having an allergic reaction as well. It is possible your skin may have become used to the BP and it's not working anymore.

Thanks for the help. I went to my doctor and she prescribed differin, so I am going to start using that at night. Would it be ok to continue using benzoyl peroxide in the morning?

No don't use bp if your using differin. I'm on my 2nd day of differin. So far I noticed it has healed the painful inflammation of my pimples. Also use differin at night and moisturize because it can dry you out.
