I've been on the regimen for about 3 years I'd say, it works pretty great. BUT I'm 20 years old and I'm wondering when I'll be able to stop using the regimen. also, doesn't everyone break out right after they stop? So how do I know if the acne I get when I stop using the regimen is just an initial outbreak, or a sign that I actually need to keep using the regimen. am i developing a severe dependency on BP???

You can slowly try to wean yourself of it i you want. Start making the amount of BP smaller and smaller throughout the weeks then eventually doing it only once a day, then once ever other day....etc, etc.

That way makes sense to be because it isn't a shock to the system going from full BP to absolutely none at all.

^ This exactly. I've learned to slowly wean myself off of BP (I always threw in the towel, which is why I'm here) otherwise I would break out terribly if I stopped cold turkey.

I use BP to control my mild acne. I only use it occasionally though; I don't seem to break out from not using it for a while.
