I am very carefull not to get any products (moisturizer, jojoba, bp) any where near my eyes but they still burn very bad. It doesn't happen right away but half way through the day my eyes will start burning terribly!!! I don't know why it is happening!

That must be frustrating. I have patients who mix there moisturises in a spray bottle with water to avoid pushing the moisturiser into their skin or causing irritation and often as a result, experience some painful burning sensations in the eyes.

Although you may apply your moisturiser differently, yon may sweat during the day and the sweat from the forehead may bring with it the oils which run down into your eyes.

Another reason is that skin is naturally acidic (about 5.5 PH) and so putting on alkaline moisturisers disrupt this natural acidity. To counteract, the skin may become acidic or expel a more pungent form of sweat to balance the alkalinity of your moisturiser and consequently, the skin around your eyes may be suffering since this has not been moisturised and there is no balance there.

I often tell people to avoid moisturisers like the plague and learn how to use different products that promote this natural skin acidity.

Remember that acids will naturally retain water and so glycerin and other ingredients commonly used in moisturisers are not needed.

Even the simplest of products such as apple cider vinegar can be used on the face as the only product ever needed after a shower. It acts as a toner that kills bacteria and promotes healing and doesn't let the face dry out. Of course, a sensible ratio of ACV to water is required for use on the face as you may cause burning.

This happened to me when I first started the regimen. I think it lasted a good 6-8 weeks before my eyes adjusted to the BP and stopped being bloodshot and feel 'sleepy'. Its annoying but just another normal reaction to the regimen.

Just a word of warning. if you're feeling burning of the eyes or dried eyes then I would exercise extra caution when applying BP further away from the eyes. When I was on BP I started getting eye issues because I believe while I was sleeping, the BP cream was being rubbed closer towards my eyes. I would go through the day with discomfort in my eyes because they were dried.

Determined to keep fighting against acne, I pushed on which is when I started to get flashes in my eyes. I ended up getting checked out by a ophthalmologists and he said that it's nothing serious at this stage but I had a slight retina detachment. This was caused by the dried eyes which was from the BP. So I discontinued use of it completely and roughly 3months later the flashes have gone.

So my point, make sure you're applying BP properly to avoid any serious health concerns to your eyes!

This happens to me, too. The Regimen has worked for me and I've become clear. My hyperpigmentation is slowly fading away as well. However, I apply the products and form "raccoon eyes" to try and prevent this from happening but it continues. The weird thing is that it doesn't happen immediately when I sweat. I can be playing basketball, have sweat run in my eyes, dry off and be fine. Then, a couple of hours later, it'll hit me and my eyes begin to burn. I'll wet my eyes and wipe them with a paper towel when this happens but I hate doing this because it may possibly cause irratation. I don't know how to stop the eye burning. I've been on the regimen for about four or five months now.

This makes me feel so much better. I am almost 1 week into using this product. and today my eyes burned so bad I could barely open them. After reading this, I think what is happening, is after applying the BP, I applied moisturizer ALL over my face, including around my eyes....so I think I was transferring the BP through the Moisturizer to my eyes. Hopefully this stinging and redness goes away and I will QUIT putting moisturzer anywhere near my eyes! AHH!
