Is this because you don't want to use anything that will break you out / dry your skin out?
Yes exactly i use head and shoulders for normal hair i use it gently but the problem is somtimes when i rinse off it runs down the sides of my face would that affect acne?
As long as you don't let it get in contact with your skin for too long, you can just use your regular shampoo.
I guess shampoo's like head and shoulders are more acne-friendly. Most shampoo's contain SLS and tons of other chemicals though, so I wouldn't worry.
Ok cool thats what i use i like head and shoulders just didntvwant it to affect anything like irritation etc.

I always shampoo/condition my hair and then cleanse my face and body to make sure any residue is removed and this seems to work for me. I used to wash my conditioner out last but it was breaking me out as it was leaving a residue on my skin.
I've heard that wash off products don't really matter too much in terms of breaking you out however I think they can affect some people.
I don't personally use any sulphates at all though, in shampoos or cleansers, as they break me out.
I've never really had an issue with using any shampoo/conditioner, I just make sure I wash my hair out really well and when my hair is drying, I try not to have it over my face.
Wash your hair first and then do the regimen so if you get any hair product residue on your face, you can just wash it out.
Use a shampoo that doesn't increase your breakouts. It make take a while to find the right one. But never go too long without shampooing. Or you hair will dry, you will get dandruff, and you can start to go bald.
that is so misinformed and giving out information like that is really harmful because people might actually believe it (qualified hairdresser here)
on topic, i just lean forward or backwards in the shower to make sure i dont get shampoo or conditioner on my face/back - shampoo foam shouldnt cause problems but conditioner can be really comedogenic if not rinsed off properly.
