Hello there! I have mild acne that I have been fighting since jr high I'm am now a jr in college and it still never goes away. I have combination skin it used to be oily but using extra virgin olive oil fixed that. It helpe with breakouts but I think my skin got used to it because now they back to how they were before. I mainly only break out in the sides of my cheeks and my chin, it's very EMBARRASING. I am willing to try the regimen but, with store bought items first to see if it works for me. One thing that reall really worries me is that I'm going to do this an then my skin is going to be worse! If anyone can tell me products that they have bought at the store here in the US and have worked please let me know. Or also if you have used it on your mild acne and it has cured it? I would really appreciate it! (:

The regimen will definitely help you and help your skin. However, it's not all unicorns and rainbows. Most of the time people end up getting a bit worse before they get better. I only ever broke out on my left cheek and around my jawline, and the regimen has helped me calm my acne/skin significantly. I'm almost at the 2nd month mark and everything is going great. Here are the products I use:

Morning:

Purpose gentle cleanser for about 10 seconds ( http://www.drugstore.com/purpose-gentle-cleansing-wash/qxp16593?catid=182291 )

Then I use Dan's 2.5% BP (any 2.5-5% BP will do, I think 10 is a bit over-harsh)

Then moisturize with CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion ( http://www.drugstore.com/cerave-moisturizing-lotion/qxp162033?catid=182922 )

Night:

I repeat the morning, but mix 1/2 AHA and 1/2 Moisturizer for my face.

Definitely read the http://www.acne.org/regimen entire guide and follow it to the T. Don't start too harsh, you have to be patient and consistent. It takes time, but it will definitely help your skin.

Yeah it will work on mild acne. But if you don't suffer from everyday breakouts like most ppl on here. I suggest to stop using it as soon as all your pimples disappear. Because if your skin gets to dry you will get stuck in a vicious cycle.
