Would Sunscreen Help With Redness?

I have been on the regimen for 8 months (but I 'reset' 4 months ago). I am mostly clear, but I still do get 1-3 zits a week. But I also am not yet using the full amount as my face takes awhile to adjust.

I am still suffering with an extremely red face in areas where I apply BP/Moisturizer. Switching moisturizers to Cerave helped a little bit, but it is still bad.

I was wondering if adding a sunscreen would help with redness. I don't think I spend enough time in the sun to get sunburns, but is it still beneficial to use one?

If so, which should I get, and how do I apply it (mix with other moisturizer?). I see the product guide recommends "Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer - Sensitive Skin", but if anyone knows another one better (or one that can help reduce redness) that would be cool too.

Thanks for reading.

Congrats on getting on the road to clear skin... To answer your question, the redness may be a byproduct of how you are applying the regimen products. Perhaps you have a heavier hand than you realize, which is entirely possible. Try using a baby's touch when applying products, wait the suggested amount of time between applications and be as gentle as possible. I don't believe sunscreen will help w/the redness but I do believe it is an essential part of the regimen. My suggestion would be to mix it in w/your moisturizer. If using Oil of Olay Sensitive, then you can use that on it's own... Good luck and keep us up to date on your progress... :)
