I use 2 full pumps of the Benzyl Peroxide. Why does it take 30-40 minutes before my skin completely dries.

Ive been on the regimen for about 5 months. I have tried waiting longer after the cleanser, shorter, and even right after. Nothing seem to make the difference.

That seems like a long time for BP to dry. I use Benzac 2.5% and it usually takes 10 minutes for it to dry. I use a fingers length of BP. Is that the same amout as two pumps?

I just ordered two bottles of Dan's BP and I'm hoping that I won't experience the long wait because that will take more time to go through the routine.

That's so strange. Two pumps of Bp takes around 5 mins to dry for me. 30 mins? I'd go crazy! Maybe you could sit in front of a fan for a few mins? I'm not sot sure what else to suggest. You sure have special skin, mate. ;)

Also, the moisturizer take about 4 hours to dry completely. So its not shiny. I always have to dry my face, before going out.

It feels like its just sitting on top of my face.

Something similar happens when I apply AHA+. The morning after, I wash my face and its like a white layer that I have to scrub away too. My acne is much better, but this is really annoying. =/

Yeah I think most people feel the same about aha. It just sits on top of your skin.

I'm still stumped at Bp and moisturizer taking hours to dry though.

Maybe you are not rubbing around the product enough on skin to let it gets absorbed?

If that problem persist, I recommend Clean&Clear's 10% BP, you can get it in Walgreens for around 8 dollars in a small tube.

Cost wise it's definitely not as good as the BP on here, but there's still plenty of it if you are only spot treating.

And the best thing is it dries quick and something in it controls oil on skin really well.

I will try rubbing it in more. Thanks! :)

As far as the moisturiser goes, I also just move it around for a couple of mins, let it dry by itself for 10 mins and then gently rub the remainder in. It seems that the extra 10 mins allows it to dry enough so that the last 'rub in' helps it to fully absorb.

Personally though, I quite like the greasy monkey feel :D

By rubbing the BP in more it took 30 min instead of 40. At least that's something..

Will try the rubbing, waiting and rubbing thing for the moisturizer. Thanks! :)
