Hey guys. I finally received the kits yesterday afternoon and was so excited to start the regimen. I created an account today to address my concern, if you could please help me..

So, I started last night at around 12 midnight with cleanser, less than half a pump of bp, then moisturizer. I woke up this morning at 7:30 and notice my face is darker, also, my colleagues tells me so. AND I'M FREAKING OUT. In spite that, I continue this afternoon at around 1 PM with the cleanser and moisturizer. Did I miss something? Is darker skin normal? It's really darker

I'm looking forward to next weeks results.

if you start the regiment, i would advice you not to stop... ever, it strips the skin of protective layers.. so when you stop, your acne comes back and rapes you.

i quoted on this post, if you want to see after and before pictures of me quitting the regiment and what i have to look at everyday now.

best of luck to you smile.png

the post;

You need to wear sunscreen hun, the BP is strong and if you're out in the sun it will make you tan even more

Day 53:

It has been wayyyyy too long!! sorry guys I was out doing a lot of things but I am back home and I have A LOT to talk about.

First off my skin has improved very much, it's not extremely flaky anymore or dry and I will go into details about that. I have about 3 actives right now, it seems it's always 3 lol. One on my left cheek one on my right and one on my forehead.

So when I was at my bf's house I applied things a little differently due to wanting to rush things lol, I did not wanna take 30 mins in the bathroom!

I washed my face with the cleanser, waited 5 mins to dry then applied BP, but instead of doing a thick line of BP I did a sort of thin one, it still works the same IMO except it dries faster and makes my skin less dry/flaky. After 15 mins I applied moisturizer (1 pump still) and instead of spreading it lightly, I applied more pressure onto my face, spreading it quickly and this reduces the flakes. I know I'm not supposed to irritate my skin but seriously spreading it lightly did not do shit for me, excuse my language tongue.png

So I've been on the Regimen for 7 weeks, and I can say that my skin is 100x better than it was before.. def give it a try if you haven't and nothing's worked for you, but some things you need to consider is that this WILL take time.. it will make your face worse before it gets better and you need to have a lot of patience and faith:)

I still have a long way to go but I'm def looking forward to the 3 month mark. Keep your head up guys, we can do this! biggrin.png

Just wanted to add that I think part of the reason my face improved was bc of the weather there, it was really hot and YES I wore sunscreen everyday but I feel my skin reacts better to hot weather as cold weather makes my face flaky. So I will just have to see how things work out now that I'm back home.

Day 54:

It feels like my skin is getting adjusted to the weather here again, it's gettting a little dry but I think the sunscreen kinda helps with that.

I still have 3 actives drying up slowly but surely :D

apart from that, I am sooooo happy that my face looks the way it does now, like seriously I have never been this clear unless I was eating healthy for days straight and yet I would still get breakouts here and there, this is a miracle :)

I LOVE YOU ACNE.ORG!!

Have a great day guys & thanks for keeping up with me sideways.gif

It's awesome to hear that you're happy with the state of your skin right now! The Regimen is literally a life saver, I've NEVER found anything this effective to treat my skin before...it's so great to find a real treatment that actually works compared to all the bullshit out there like Proactive and those other marketing schemes.

Keep on truckin' Faith! p.s: you look fantastic in your new profile picture! :) Skin is looking great.

Exactly!! I was actually going to try Clinique but I decided to give this a try first and it was the best choice everr :)

Thank you! but I was actually wearing make-up on that one :P my skin still has pretty bad scars and a few pimples that I hope will go away with time.

Day 55:

Hello my Regimen comrades :D

Very hot day today in LA, no way am I going outside in this heat lol so I am sitting here writing an update..

I have 3 pimples on my forehead now, boooo! the ones on my cheek are practically dried up, nevertheless they're still there :P

One new one under my nose as well.. I knew my clear days wouldn't last but they will be here!! just gotta have patience :)

I didn't realize it, but my face color matches the rest of my body now, before it used to be red all the time so that's one of the positive things, besides the flakiness going away.

I have noticed that when a pimple goes away it leaves a red mark and that's why I really wanna get the AHA, I will look into purchasing it.

I also want to replace the moisturizer with something I can get at the drugstore.. I llike the moisturizer that Dan makes but I don't LOVE it bc it really doesn't moisturize as well as I think it should.

If you guys have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it :)

As always, thank you for reading & have a wonderful day wavey.gif

Hi Faith! Definitely get the AHA!! I can't say how much I love that stuff because it takes away the red marks. Also, if you get a spot, it works really well as a spot treatment together with the BP.

As for the moisturizer, I now use the Cerave lotion as an AM moisturizer and Cetaphil lotion as my PM moisturizer. Love them both and they haven't broken me out.

@nicmic62

Helloo :)

How do you use the AHA as a spot treatment?

I will look into your suggestions, thanks :)

Day 57( 2 months on the Regimen!!):

Sorry guys forgot to post yesterday, and yesterday made the 2 month mark on the Regimen, hoooraayyy :D

I have 2 pimples left, one on my chin and the one on my forehead.. the rest of my face is great and I popped the one under my nose cause it was multiplying lol

I'm so excited to have done 2 months already bc that means by the 3rd month I should have incredible results :)

The only thing that is really worrying me now are the red marks, or hyper pigmentation whatever it's called :P

I'm gonna try out lemon juice and maybe some other home remedies, just don't wanna use any products for those just yet

I wanna stick to just the Regimen for now and see where it leads me to.

It's getting extremely hot here, and it's unbearable, my forehead has been gettin a lot of sweat and it's nasty and sticky, ewww lol

I hope it doesn't break me out so what I'm doing is I'm wiping the sweat off as often as possible :P

I guess that's it for me.. I have Chinese food waiting for me in the kitchen so I will cya guys later :D

When I spot treat I dab the AHA on my red marks or on my spot before the BP. Someone on the boards also taught me that and it works much faster for me that way especially with the red marks. At night after the BP, I still do the 1/2 AHA and 1/2 moisturizer though.

Faith, congrats on the progress. By month 3 you should definitely be more clear than broken out. In regards to hyperpigmentaion, have you started AHA yet. From what i read, it does wonders for red marks over time. I started using it tonight so we'll see if it helps or hurts my skin.

Keep on keeping on

I really want to buy the AHA but can't yet, I'm really tight on money but I will once I get the chance. Let me know how it goes for you :)

Day 62:

Hello everyone :)

I just counted my pimples and I have 3 very persistent ones, the same ones I've had..

one on my forehead, one on my right cheek and one by my right eye, very weird lol

I only get a little bit of flakiness now, I don't know if it's because of the way I put on the moisturizer but something's working amused.gif

It's getting less hot here so no more sweating, hopefully less breakouts :P

Hope you guys are having a great day sideways.gif

Day 66:

Hi guyss :)

I've decided to only post on here when I see major changes in my face and today is one of those days!

It's changed for the bad unfortunately, I have 6 actives on my face, one on my forehead, 2 under my chin, 1 on my right cheek, and 2 others on my left cheek

I'm not like super bummed but it does make me wonder what I've been doing wrong, apart from eating junk food lol & I think it might be due to not doing the Regimen 12 hrs apart everyday, sometimes I do 9 then sometimes 14.. so I will be more consistent with that.

Anyways I have to go put BP on, I will update you guys when something new happens lol.

Goodnight :)

Could it be hormone related? I usually get my hormone spots the week before my period. I do find that the earlier I spot treat with AHA, the sooner it goes away, or it doesn't really even come out.

Hey! This is really interesting! I'm only 14 days into the Regimen so it's helpful to read about everyone's progress so far. Gives me hope! <3 Has the quality of either of your complexions improved at all, even if you're still breaking out?

Day 92:3 Months and 1 week on Regimen!

Ok I don't know how long it's been but my face continues to do well, I still get very small breakouts but they go away after a few days. Now what I am really focused on is my scars, they're really bad and I feel like even though my face is clear those scars still make it look bad.. but I am sooo so grateful that this miracle has happened and I will keep striving for picture perfect skin lol. I'm probably gonna do chemical peels, not sure yet but I am still looking for possible solutions.

I'm also thinking about laser treatment but I'm scared and I would def like some input on this from someone who's experienced it, thanks in advance :)

I hope that you guys are doing well and I will try to post more, & let you guys know on what I plan to do :)

Talk some time in the near future lol :)

Thank you darling, I agree on that. I kight just try to fade them naturally.

Day 97:

Hellooo guys :) just coming on here to say I have a pimple on my lip and it's really bugging me! lol other than that I have 2 other ones that are drying up..

I've noticed that I only remain clear when I don't eat junk food! so that's really what it is..unfortunately the regimen doesn't stop me from breaking out if I eat junk food lol.

I will def try to stop but can't guarantee anything ;)

I'm thinking about some natural home remedies for the scars..eusa_think.gif

can't wait for Halloweenn! I can't believe we're a little more than halfway through the year! things have really turned around for me :)

anyways I'll probably just log on here to check on you guys since things are still the same..

have a good one guys!

Day 105:

Hey everyone :)

I'm back here and things are still going great.. I've been using lemon juice for scars and I don't feel like it's doing much but it does make my face feel fresh lol. I'm gonna use glycolic peels, starting at 20% to see how I like it and then I might increase. I've also been using vitamin E gel, and it's working for other scars so I might use it on my face too..

I'll report back to you guys when I start using the peel, wish me luck :D
