Quitting Regimen In Under 7 Months?

Hello I've been searching all around the forums and can not find any straight answers... how can I come off the regimen in under 7 months without breaking out? The 7 months is because I'm leaving for boot camp for the Marine Corps and I don't want acne to be a huge problem. I have a brand new set of the regimen (16oz bottles) to come off of it, but is there a recommended amount of time I should lower dosages to come off of it so I don't completely break out?

I'm 17 and I have been on the acne.org regimen with only acne.org products (cleanser, BP, and moisturizer) for two years.

Keep in mind that The Regimen is not a cure but a way to manage acne prone skin. If you decide to discontinue it, don't be surprised if your acne does return to some degree eventually. I hope you will be one of the lucky one's for whom the acne has settled down on its own in the meantime.

I would suggest a gradual approach. However gradual you want to do it. You have 7 months to do this so you can either do a long drawn out withdrawal or do it somewhat slow but give yourself a few months after stopping to see how your skin is going to do without the bp.

Do you have some sort of plan for what to use once you are off The Regimen? I know when you leave for boot camp you aren't allowed to bring certain things, but have you thought ahead to what kind of skincare routine you think you could manage?

Good luck and keep us posted!

I don't see why you couldn't use the Regimen while you're in bootcamp. Even once a day would suffice if you've been using it for 2 years.
