I think I read somewhere that if you drink lemon juice (mixed with water,of course), it can help your skin clear up. Can someone explain to me how that works and how to do it? And also, has anyone tried it? And has it worked for you?

Thanks :)

I've never tried it, but you can add a tablespoon to a bottle of water and drink it throughout the day.

Okay, Thanks! So a tsp is enough? You don't have to squeeze all of the juice out of the lemon?

Hm, interesting. Haa.

Thanks again :)

It's enough to start off with, you can always add more if you want to. Btw, a teaspoon (tsp) is probably not enough.

So for it to work, I have to drink it AND apply it to my face?

And do i apply it all around my face or use it as a spot treatment?

And can I add it in my regimen?

I used to drink many liters of water every day all with several tablespoons of lemon juice. Sometimes in the summer it was a ridiculous amount. It did wonders for my skin - BUT the acid in the lemon juice wore away the enamel on my teeth, and on my dentist's recommendation, I reduced my intake substantially.
