The new moisturizer does NOT moisturize

Has anyone else noticed the newest formulation of the moisturizer has declined SHARPLY in quality? Its very odd and I dont know why. It feels like in the past 2-3 years the moisturizing qualities have slowly gone further and further down. I find myself now needing to use almost double the amount of what I used to use ($$$), while still struggling to fully feel like my skin is happily hydrated. Even in the hand it feels far more runny and honestly, like its half water.

I had some old moisturizer hiding in a travel container (not the old-old one that was yellow, one from a year or two ago) I found stashed away and, out of curiosity to see if it was in my head or something else has changed in my routine, tested it out. Sweet relief! I needed much less for my skin to feel fully hydrated. The texture was wayyyy different as well; significantly less runny and more like a quality moisturizer should feel like.

I am super disappointed and feel a bit scammed. Ive been a customer for many years and have usually had only good things to say. It also aint cheap, and I cant really afford to be buying this twice as frequently to make up the deficit.

I only changed one ingredient, but you are not the only one who is unhappy with it. It's super confusing to me, because I use it too and I really like it and have not noticed the changes you guys are talking about. But...I get it, I hear you, and I have taken action. I reformulated the Moisturizer and sent it to testers and they approved it, so a new version will be coming out in the next few months.

I've been using it for 4 years and I have noticed no changes in quality. It keeps my skin moisturized all day long.

@dan will you be reformulating the AHA too?

I am not reformulating the AHA from the ground up, no. The only thing I'm going to be changing about the AHA is switching from licorice root to Niacinamide. The more I learn about Niacinamide the more I like it.
