Acne.org Products
Have been consistently ordering and using the Benzoyl Peroxide for the last 8 years, and it had worked amazingly well until the last shipment of product I received. The Benzoyl Peroxide came in a different packaging, and the product itself was also different. It was a lot white, had a different smell and feel on my skin. Worst of all, it didn't seem to work at all.
My skin had breakouts, and bumps all over my forehead. I tested it with the remnants of the last batch of product, and the results were very different after just two days of use. The new Benzoyl Peroxide is nothing more than a white paste that does nothing for your skin.
Anyone else noticed this happening?
Could it be the one's from Amazon.com? I wish it was reformulated to be micronized Benzoyl peroxide. Thats what I use for my face (from Neutrogena), I use the acne.org one on my body, along with Glycolic acid. Its not enough to halt the issue on my face: on my face I use the Neutrogena Stubborn Acne.org treatment during the day, and Adapalene Gel at night (retinoid), That has been working for me. I think the moisturizer needs an update, its not as moisturizing as I wish it were and it burns a little when I put it on.
Hi, long time Acne.org BPO user here. Started using it end of 2007/2008. Long enough to know I know the skin routine, variables, and the game.
I just bought a new DK BPO bottle (only buy from DK including face wash) end of Aug, lot 813 exp 2/26 and the past week being able to use it, my skin has broken out worse, worse than before ever being on BPO. Inflammatory acne, small red pustules that pop, and cysts. 10 at least all around my nose and smile lines, between my eye brows, above my eyebrows, under my eyes. Now spreading to forehead and chin, which is extremely rare areas for me. This has been matter of days, so no new skin stuff, i dont wear makeup, no new shampoos, laundry items, etc I know the routine. Not itchy, not fungal, looks allergic but its not, just inflamed.
I can verify this DK BPO experience is also happening to me.
My skin has become extremely awful since using the new BP! Its terrible ! It does not work ! Ive been using the old formula for over 8 years . I broke out with cysts around my jaw and nose and forehead which never ever happened using the original brand! Bring back the original! Its doing nothing to keep these pimples and cysts at bay . My jaw is so painful! Never had this happen on old formula.
