Hey guys this is more of a complaint than a review, I been a acne.org reg user for over 10 years and recently the new moisturizer has been making me break out pretty bad and I been cleared using the old formula.
The new lotion feels really thick and very sticky.
When I put the lotion on my face feels like there is a plastic layer over my face and makes my face red irritated.
I stopped using it and just applying jojoba oil to moisturize and it made my face alot better.
Will not be purchasing the new lotion until it gets resolved.
Seems like Dan trying to go cheap and cut cost to change ingredient or manufacture or something.
Dan! we are willing to pay more if quality is there.
Quality over Quantity any day any time!
I hear you guys on this. It doesn't make sense to me because I only changed 1 ingredient, but still, I hear you.
I am in the lab formulating a new moisturizer. People also complained a lot about the old one, so I am not planning on bringing back the old one. Instead, I'm planning on making a completely new one. I have learned some new stuff in my research that I can put into an improved moisturizer anyway.
It should be months before it can come out because supply chain is insane right now, but just want to let you know I'm on it.
*******UPDATE******
I just told my self lets see what happens if I stick with it for some time.
So it has been just over 4 weeks and my skin stopped breaking out and finally feels normal again (Super frustrating and hard 4 weeks due to breakout, Wore mask to cover my face if I had to go out and opt to stay home most of the 4 weeks).
I have few scars left on my face from the breakout however I'm not getting any new actives any more.
Seems like my skin adjusted to the new lotion and it does not feel thick or sticky or make my face burn or red any more when I apply it.
Its weird because I thought only AHA or some sort of chemical peeling only makes you purge but for some reason the new lotion made me purge for 4 weeks.
Anyways I just ordered new batch of cleaners/BP/Lotion just now since I ran out.
