My moisturizer is not yellow this time around, its white. Did I get a bad batch, or did the formula change?

Same for me, the moisturizer received is now white and does not feel the same.

Same here. From customer support...

"Hi Andrew,

Thank you for contacting us.

We have changed the formulation of the Moisturizer recently. We'll be updating our website for the formula change in a few days. We've been receiving tons of reviews from people over the years that they are not fond of the yellow Moisturizer so we reformulated it to work better than before. We have replaced the Licochalcone on our Moisturizer with Glycyrrhiza glabra or also known as Licorice root which is well known as an anti inflammatory ingredient for the skin.

Go ahead and try it and let us know what you think about the new formulation. We're sure that you will like it even more than the yellow Moisturizer."

Not sure how I feel about this yet. My skin felt kind of dry. I broke out the next day but not sure if it's from the new formula or just a coincidence. I've been clear for months though...

I bought the moisturizer because I read that licochalcone was effective. I also thought it might work better because it was a rare ingredient, that maybe not a lot of people have tried. Mine is definitely the white kind though.

So instead of just using licochalcone, it now uses whatever components are in licorice root? Does this include licochalcone, or is it being sourced from the more available kind of licorice that doesn't have this?

My newest bottle that I recently opened is definitely different. I bought it several months ago. It has a lighter pale color. It's also much thinner and easier to apply. I've been using this moisturizer for over 15 years and always disliked the chalkiness. The new formula feels much better and isn't chalky.

It still has the licorice ingredient which I only realized in the last year or so that it has been staining all my clothes (especially blue shirts). I've been considering switching to something else. But I like the feel of this new formula so I don't know yet. I'm using it less and experimenting with other moisturizers during the day because I'm tired of ruining all of my shirts.
