With these products if it's used over a period of 6 to 12 months will you say used can be reduced and stopped with no chance of acne coming back? Or is it a product that will become a permanent part of your lifestyle never being able to stop using the product?

Permanent part of your life. Acne cannot be cured, but it can be actively managed. You can taper back to once a day once you get your acne under control to a point where you're happy with your skin...but unfortunately it will always come back.
