I'm on Accutane, so my skin is dry for a different reason, not bp. The dryness is not extreme at all yet, as I'm only on day nine, but the moisturizer still absorbs very well. Are you waiting a little while after application? It doesn't absorb right away but within 15 minutes my skin feels perfect.

Yeah, my experience is similar to this poster. The moisturizer I find a little slow to sink in but once it does it's great, leaves my skin soft and supple. I still use Dan's moisturizer every day even though I no longer use the other products. It's the best moisturizer I've ever come across. The "dirt like" feel could be the matte finish, it does feel a little strange, almost chalky, until you get used to it. But great for oily skin which I still battle!
