Hi everyone! I haven't tried this product yet but I'm going to get it soon. I was just wondering if this is too harsh if your skin is not VERY VERY bad? And also does it close your pores and remove whiteheads and blackheads? Does your skin peel really badly? I'm so excited to try this regimen but at the same time I want to be realistic and prepare myself. Thank you!!!

Whether your skin condition is bad or not has nothing to do with the harshness of the regimen; your skin sensitivity does. Don't worry, though. Even if you have sensitive skin, you can still do the regimen. It doesn't close your pores as astringents "claim" to do. I quote claim because if anything they do the opposite. Anything which contracts the skin (such as cold water) actually opens pores. It's the opposite of what most people think. Yes, it removes whiteheads & blackheads. Yes, it peels badly at first especially if you have really sensitive skin. For some people (such as me) the flakiness never completely goes away; it just subsides. I've been doing the regimen for a few years, and I still have flakiness. Continual usage of alpha-hydroxy acid really helps with this. For more information about alpha-hydroxy acid, click here. Just make sure that you follow the regimen precisely; otherwise your results will be diminished. You can view the instructions here.

Thank you so much for your help! :)

Do you know what does help with open pores then?
