I am really excited to try this product out, as I'm now mostly clear, but still get the odd pustule that tend to go away either the same day or in 1-2 days.
Although I'm not on the whole regimen anymore, I'd like to get that 'perfect' skin that Dan describes in his video regarding his AHA. My skin texture is still not as I'd like.
What I wanted to ask is; does the product cause flakiness (a BHA I used a couple of months ago caused me to get dry skin)? Is the product PH balanced? Will it work well as a spot treatment during the day?
Also, would I be better ordering from Amazon to avoid any charges (due to living in the UK) or should I avoid this through the Daniel Kern store?
Thanks,
Lewis
I cant remember how much exactly but I do know its slightly cheaper to order from Amazon.
The AHA is kind of greasy so you could use a tiny bit to spot treat during the day but I like to sort of not rub it in too much so it sits on the skin, I do that at night and when I wake up it goes really yellow and its not a cute daytime look lol.
It does totally remove my flakiness (it dissolves it all off) but the days I dont use it the flakiness comes back full force, so i'm going to work my way up to using it every day.
Also, be prepared for an initial breakout to some extent - it does go away though if you keep using it, and for me it was just one 'wave' of breakouts and that was it, nothing ongoing.

Thanks. Yeah I assumed it would probably relatively cheaper to purchase via Amazon - I got my BP without any extra charges from there.
How has the AHA improved your skin tone/texture as of now? That's basically what I want to achieve from using the AHA, so it would be nice to hear some sort of review on the product in terms of that.

I've only been using it for just over a couple of weeks but my skin is a lot softer to the touch. My skin does appear to have a 'glow' aswell but to be honest that might just be a slight tan from the hot weather we've been having. Hyperpigmentation at face value does seem to have faded slightly, nothing dramatic though this early on. It definately is working though and I feel like using it long term will give me the true benefits from it.

I hope the 'glow' is to do with the AHA, because that's what I really want to achieve. That picture perfect look. And yeah, I've heard that AHA works best long-term and takes a while to show visible results.
Yeah it can sting alittle bit. It's odd Somedays it doesn't sting and then a few days later it will. I use it daily I've been using it daily for about a month and I've only been using it for maybe a month and a half. I did get a couple of spots that were out of the norm for me once I started using it but I am glad I pushed through because they went away days later and I've not had any new spots since. It has taken care of my Hyperpigmentaion by 80% since I've started which is amazing because nothing else has ever helped that! I also have a glow to my skin, it really evens out your skin tone and really cleans up the look of your skin. I think you'll love it. I know I sure do.
I planned on using it as a spot treatment too but I liked it so much and it feels so good going on the skin that I wanted to apply it everywhere. So I started with a 20/80 aha to lotion. And now I use a 80/20 or just 100% aha it's just a great product! Good luck with it!

Just like you said, the next day it didn't sting at all compared to the first time I used it.
My face already feels better exfoliated and all the dry skin I get around my nose has nearly gone, so I'm already really happy with it. I like that it doesn't cause dryness either, because most other chemicals like BP and BHA all cause me to flake.
Can't wait to see how effective it is in the months to come!
