Food/teas that reduce acne on chin?

Hi all,

Other then spearmint tea do you know of any food or teas that I can eat/drink to reduce the spots on and around my chin area.

My chin area has lots of tiny spots just under the skin. Different spots then get inflamed and come to a head .

Please help its my dream to get rid of the spots on my chin.

Turmeric
garlic tabs
resveratrol
coconut oil
Omega 3 oils, either fish or borage or flaxseed.
Many people like cod liver oil also.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever had your nose swabbed for Staphylococcus aureus? The nose is a reservoir for staph bacteria and some people are carriers of it. With time, it drips down the nasal cavity and results in an infection around the nose, mouth, and/or chin area that looks remarkably similar to acne.

Nope never been tested for this, I've never even heard of it until your post but I googled it and don't think this is what I have.

I forgot to ask, do you use fluoride mouth/ tooth products? That could do it. Try baking soda instead to brush your teeth.

This is a good point--that is often the culprit for a lot breakouts in that particular area.

However, there are many different kinds of acne and respective treatments/cures, and even more skin reactions/infections/etc that mimic acne. It would be very difficult to offer diet advice or remedy suggestions without knowing lots more.

For instance...

1. Do you have breakouts in other locations or is it just isolated to your chin?
2. If so, does it follow a hormonal pattern (not sure of your gender)? Or a seasonal pattern? Or is it persistent all throughout the month/year?
3. When did the problem start? If it wasn't puberty, can you think of anything that may have triggered the initial breakout (like another health issue; a diet, medication, or environment change; a period of severe stress; a major hormone shift like pregnancy/birth control/menopause; etc) And how did it progress?
4. Do you have any other chronic or reoccurring health issues or complaints? Do you take any medications or supplements?
5. Are you aware of any allergies or intolerances you might have (food or environmental)? What is your diet like currently?
6. What is your current skin care regimen?
7. What is the condition of the skin around the acne? Do you have any other skin issues on your face or body like dryness,flakiness, excessive oil production, itchiness, redness, yeast overgrowth, dandruff, hair loss, nail fungus, pigmentation issues, cracked skin, rashes etc.?
8. How is your dental health?
9.Are you aware of any factors that seem to temporarily aggravate or improve it?
