So after suffering from acne since puberty it seems I might be on the path to clear skin. Severely cutting back on dairy and refined sugar (fresh fruits are totally okay) seems to be instantly doing wonders for my skin. I have also started transitioning my diet to be more plant based for half or 2/3 of the day and really upping my water intake.
I am not sure if I should also thank the wash i'm using, or the apple cider vinegar for the astringent, or the flipping between salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide as my step 3 topical treatment, but I do not care. I feel good on the inside, and haven't gotten a new blemish in 2 weeks!
Ideally I would like all my face products to be natural (I have a highly rated activated charcoal/clay mask in the mail to try out) but as of now I feel absolutely amazing that things are IMPROVING! One change at a time..
Who else out there is seemingly on the right path thanks to going natural??

I've also cut out all grains, helped tremendously with the redness within my scars.
oh yeah? that's really interesting! My skin has always healed up scars well on its own but if i find they're stubborn i may have to try that!
