I'm looking to find as much info as possible on eating healthy, and thought this would be a fun way to do so. What are your favorite healthy meals? Something that makes you full yet doesn't contribute to inflammation, acne, and weight gain? For me it's vegetable soup. I add red and green peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, parsley, and some garlic.

My diet is healthy, organic, GMO free, processed free, and a highly alkaline diet ( anti-inflammatory ). Most days I usually eat salad with my homemade salad dressing, chopped up tomatoes, onion, and some organic cheese. I also eat a variety of fruit like: cantaloupes, oranges ( my favorite ), lemons ( detox ), strawberries, and blueberries. My only source of protein are organic eggs and LOTS OF FISH ( omegas 3s ). To top it off, I drink 3-5 cups of white tea everyday, along with 1 teaspoon of matcha powder.

So in all, my favorite meal is my homemade salads and my salmon fillet meal. For my salmon fillet recipe: I add 1 cup of brown rice, baked salmon, some vinegar, 1 teaspoon of sake ( Japanese beverage ), chopped tomatoes, and garlic.

I've been eating this way for about 5-6 years and has helped me clear my acne. For weight gain, I'm not sure cause I have a very high metabolism ( runs in my family ).

EDIT:

Most importantly, I drink 0.5 to 1 gallon of water a day.

I used to boil bunch of vegetables into a casserole and eat them with either boiled Egg, Chicken breast or Beef but recently, I've changed my cooking method to steaming because they taste better.

I now steam all the veggies that I'm going to eat such as Red capsicum, Tomatoes, Carrots, Asparagus, Broccoli, Kale, Sweet Potato etc. And then I eat it with either boiled Eggs or Pan Fried Chicken breast, Lamb or Beef. I don't throw away the left over water that was used for steaming since it has all the nutrients so I pour it into a bowel and drink it with the meal.

I used to eat Brown rice but now I eat Sweet Potato instead.

I eat gluten-free oatmeal with organic brown rice milk and little bit of honey 2 - 3 times a day not because it's healthy but simply because it's easy to prepare and a good source of energy.

For fruits, I only eat Kiwi fruit, Grape fruit and Pawpaw.
