I normally take Nature Made 500mg chewable vitamin C tablets 6 times a day. I take 2 in the morning, 2 at lunch, and 2 with dinner. They have dramatically reduced the amount of oil my skin produces, but each tablet contains 1g of sugar. This means that throughout the day I am getting 6g of sugar that I don't really need. Do you think this could have a negative effect on my skin? I'm thinking about just taking powdered vitamin C instead. Do you think this would be just as effective?
