I ran out of differin samples. And found out a tube is $349. I been reading on vitamin D3 and have decided to give it a shot. I will be starting with 1,000 UI. I think this may help me dramatically because to tell you the truth my whole life I've been indoors. I never hanged outside. Ill gradually up the dose depending on the results I see if any.

1,000 IU is not an adequate dose. Take at least 3-5 IU.

And get outdoors both for sun and bright light which is essential for your Circadian cycle which has a huge impact on health & acne.

I'm going to go buy it right now. I'll start with 5,000 UI. I also know how many new pimples I get everyday so i'll post if there's an increase or decrease over the next couple weeks.

I don't think vitamin D3 is a cure. I was severely deficient in vitamin D, and getting my levels to normal didn't really do much for my acne. I think vitamin D3 could possibly help, but I think it's important to do other things too like eating a low gi diet.

How much vitamin d3 were you taking a day?

I think it was 50,000 iu once a month. I was given that strength by my doctor.

It isn't a cure. There's no such thing. But it has a big impact on skin function, your immune system, really everything to do with your health. If you haven't been getting it from the sun or supplementing, you need to start now. For reasons more important than acne.

doctors prescribe D2, which is not the most useable, effective form. The best is to get it from the sun, after that, D3.

Oh, alright, I guess it was D2 then. I believe I took that level of D2 for 6 months and then started taking D3 to maintain my levels.
