Hi, after taking Collagen Tablets for over 2 months I would like to report some positive feedback.

I have some ice pick scars on my left cheek and some small boxcar on my right and left also.

Anyone else who has had Cystic Acne knows that if you pick it, pop it or do anything to disrupt the healing process you'll be left with a nasty ass scar. I unfortunately did this due to intense frustration of the spot never forming a head (Did not know it was Cystic at the time).

Anyway picking disturbs the collagen formation process which is usually carried out to heal your skin. Ice picks and boxcars are the result of a loss of collagen hence why the skin is intended and fillers are often used to plump out the skin and fill in the marks.

These tablets - HYDROLYSED COLLAGEN (1000MG) are from Holland & Barrett. It says to take 6 a day, which I have been religiously apart from very few days like today where I am too hungover and daren't try and swallow such a huge tablet without barfing.

From taking these some of my boxcars have now filled in. Ice picks are not as bad, they look a lot smother and firmer. Cannot be seen as much when wearing makeup and some boxcars as I said have filled in.

I was considering collagen tablets at one point, but I was worried they would interfere with my body's ability to produce collagen. I did some research on collagen pills and decided against it. What has helped my skin produce more collagen is vitamins (herpanacine), high frequency & pulsed red light (Clear Touch Light) facial treatments.

Unfortunately I can no longer afford red pulsed light or anything like that. I tried IPL several times and after 4 or 5 it no longer worked. Skin made of steel over here haha. I do not intend to take Collagen tablets for months and months on end, just want to give my skin the kick up the arse it needs to fill in these indents.
