Yes i have tried ALA with ALCAR (Acetyl-L-carnitine). I did not notice any thing, but i felt great physically. Made me more hungry as well but thats from the ALCAR.

If ya got the money, sure go try. But i personally seen little to no effect even though its supposedly a great supplement. I still have some that i keep around because i felt better with it; my acne didnt change much as i said.
