If I go dairy free to reduce acne breakouts, can I still drink almond or soy milk?

Yes, unless you are avoiding nuts or soy.

Yes. I've been avoiding dairy for months and just have almond milk on my cereal instead which actually tastes really nice. Be sure to get an unsweetened version though because you don't want to be adding a load of extra sugar to your diet.

Soy beans and almonds are not dairy so have no more do with avoiding dairy than an apple does. But we can't tell you whether or not YOU can have them.

Almond milk should be unsweetened and free of chemicals in which case its likely fine unless you are intolerant to almonds. Its just as Likely whatever you want to use it with is a bigger problem. Refined cereal?

. Unfermented soy in any form really isn't a good thing.

Almonds are some kind of seeds, so yes. I think it will cause even more acne than the normal cow milk

Answer to title question: Of course not. Almond 'milk' doesn't have anything in common with animal milk.

They are not related to milk but when i tried it (i made it, without sugar etc) i broke out. The same with raw almonds, so if you are sensitive you will break out, if you are not, you won't.

Almonds have some omega 6, if you are sensitive to the omega-3/omega-6 ratio in your body, almond milk could be problematic.

Acne is not caused nor aggravated by dairy. Dairy has been implicated in giving people an acneiform eruption but isn't essentially "actual" acne so there's no need to actually give it up.

Buy and prepare real whole food and you won't have that problem.
