Well I work with chocolate and the real dark chocolate can be very beneficial for you, as it's extremely high in anti-oxidants(unless you react badly to cocoa mass). I only asked because it may actually be the sugar, vegetable fat, milk solids or soya letchins that are breaking you out. I thought chocolate was a trigger for me, I've been eating it all week and no reaction, nothing. Just throwing it out there.

It's the sugar you should avoid. Low sugar dark chocolate s a good thing for most people.

Dark chocolate is filled with antioxidants and is great to eat in moderation. I love indulging in 85% or 90% cacao sometimes. Unsweetened cocoa powder mixed with stevia and almond milk is also a wonderful antioxidant-rich treat! (Healthy hot chocolate.)

I sometimes break out to chocolate (or so it seems) but I think that has more to do with the soy lecithin for me.
