If you were lactose intolerant, you'd probably know this because most people have to rush to the bathroom after lol. Besides that though, you'd have abdominal pain, gas, bloating after consuming dairy. A doctor could always run a food allergy test to know for sure though. Now if you were casein intolerant that would be more tricky to know. If you don't have those symptoms though you could always switch to goat milk products, it's more easily digested than cow's milk.

I don't really have any of those symptoms (unless acne counts as one).
I haven't drank milk in a while, does that mean my body lost its ability to digest it?
I love raw goats milk, tastes like heaven (tried it a few months back)
The hormones in dairy could still affect your acne so you could give up dairy and see if your acne improves but you more than likely aren't lactose intolerant. If you don't notice your skin getting worse from the raw goat milk I would keep drinking that because of the nutritional benefits+probiotics. Some people even use goat milk topically though I haven't tried that.

What about people like me who have to rush to the bathroom after consuming certain products like muffins, cakes, baked goods....It doesn't happen all the time, though, but usually when it happens, it's because I've consumed them and it's usually store-bought, not homemade. However, I've never experienced stomach problems in the past from consuming straight up milk, cheese...
Hmm, does that still indicate intolerance towards dairy?? o.o
I read that you have to be able to produce your own lactase? How could one tell if they can properly digest milk? Any possible tests out there?
Well if you were milk intolerant then it wouldn't take a doctor or diagnostic tests to tell you that.People around you could actually tell you that LOL. You'd feel uneasy, bloated and sick.Milk makes me squeamish.Besides i also get mild diarrhea from it.You can experiment it.Have milk in small amounts and if it doesn't affects you then increase the amounts until you're sure that you are cow friendly.

Could be a gluten problem. That happened to me a lot and I was diagnosed with celiac which is an allergy to wheat rye and barley aka gluten. I also find I have trouble with dairy also. The best way to do a self test is by avoiding say dairy for a couple weeks then introducing it again. See how you feel while avoiding it and then if you get unplesant symptoms if you eat it again. It can also take a couple of days to develop symptoms if you do have a problem.
Happy Eating
Well, the fact is that if you are lactose intolerant you would know it without any tests. Basically, you would feel a sensation of bloating or nausea after consuming milk or milk products, if you were lactose intolerant. I am speaking from experience because my brother is lactose intolerant.

No i don't consume milk or milk products these days.I am confident that they aggravate my acne.Though my parents say that i should consume milk, curd, yogurt, cheese and other things.Being from the old school of thought, they can't imagine a 20 year old boy growing up without milk.Milk is great for growing creatures i agree. But for heaven's sake i'm not growing! I'm not a calf LOL

So you never consume milk, not even a little bit? Also, do you consume any grains?
