Hey everyone, the diet that I am currently on (paleo diet, which consists of grass fed beef, grass fed beef sausage, beef tallow, avocado, macadamia nuts, ghee, greens such as kale, romaine lettuce, spinach, sometimes hard cheeses or goat cheese, sardines at times) seems to keep my face acne pretty clear (although I do get breakouts few times a year).
The body acne however is not going away. I would say this diet has improved my body acne by 40-50%. I still suffer breakouts quite often and it is frustrating nonetheless.
I am beginning to think that maybe only 50% of my body acne is diet related, while the other 50% could be related to something else?
I have low stress (Used to be stressed a lot on a daily basis, but I have sorted that out), sleep 7-9 hours a day.
I take vitamin d supplements, but maybe it is more ideal to go out on the sun instead (so not sure if the lack in sun exposure is preventing my acne from clearing).
I also take zinc supplements 30mg every other day.
I do not wash with any cleansers/soap... but I do use head and shoulders on my scalp about 3 times a week (I make sure about 90% of the time that the head and shoulders does not get on my body at all).
Could it be the detergent I am using?
Its incredibly frustrating.
I wash with only water (not filtered though, just shower water).
Face is oily but rarely gets acne. Body isn't oily (sometimes it is), and gets wayyy more acne.
I now believe that being rough on your face/skin, or having oily skin does not = acne at all. There is something else going on...
its when the dead skin cells and other debris clogs pores and the bacteria too gets trapped.causing acne.
how long have u been following this only water regimen?
body acne,as far as i know, is hormonal to a great extent.
so i say u check ur hormone level.
i'd also say u check ur sugar level.
plus what i'd said earlier..body is tougher than face so u'd like to wait a bit more to see some results.

It must be hard to know that you're doing all the right things but not seeing the full results. Keep hanging on, you'll get there.
I have a few comments:
- Are you familiar with all the ingredients in the sausage? If you're not making it yourself, I'd be wary of it.
- Have you tried eliminating dairy completely? What were your findings?
- Do you suffer from any regular aches, pains, discomfort? Bloating? Recurrent coughs or headaches? Any psycholgoical issues like anxiety, depression, mind fog, fatigue?
- Please google alternatives to detergent. There are ways to wash clothes without conventional soaps.

I am 100 % sure that the ingredients of the sausage are the following:
Beef, water, sea salt, black pepper, marjoram
