As much as possible I like to get all the vitamins and minerals from food sources, but I know that some of the essential vitamins and minerals for clear and healthy skin are not abundant in food sources, and also I am not a fan of taking 5 or more pills/capsules a day. And also advice on the best brands.

Any advice will be very appreciated. biggrin.png

I think on top of a multivitamin probiotics seem to help the most with acne (at least 10 billion organisms.) You could take a supplement and also get them from a lot of foods, yogurt, goat's milk, kefir, sauerkraut, pickles...

Go to your healthstore and ask for the best multivitamin and get some water kefir for probiotics!

thank you for the replies! I read somewhere that multivitamins are not bioavailable and that most of the vitamins in it are just wasted? or is it just like that for the cheap brands?

Most people are somewhat deficient in Omega 3 and Zinc when they have acne. Vitamin D hasn't been doing me anything but good either.

Well the only way a multi is of any use is if it comes in capsules that are meant to be taken thoughout the day. Natures way alive is an example. Vitacost.com has their own imitation called viva that is cheaper.
