I am fine with or without. That's just my advice, if you do not see it as many do, you are still free to go on with how you want.

I've known and experienced out of body experience, astral travel, seeing the future, bliss, and other things that would be seen as paranormal or mystical. Many others have felt this way too, and it have shifted the beliefs of many. Mostly done through meditative state or after/before state of sleep.

Bliss, is something that is rather hard to explain. I never thought a feeling of pleasure or happiness would go beyond what we feel in our daily lives, It's this feeling of complete utter relaxation, you have no fear, no worry, and you feel somewhat connected. I am not always able to feel it though. Even if its acne, you utterly seem to not care, then there's this forgiving love for everything, even the urge of self-sacrifice.

What a beautiful existence it is.

I believe you have no idea what depression is.

Tell that to Buddha, monks, and enlightened masters, they'll agree smile.png.

Nah jk, but I have no interest in writing another post to explain what it is. You may find it yourself simply by googling the keywords I've used in my previous posts.

It's a very deep concept, getting into emotion and realizing how our mind works. It's not how we are taught to think it is suppose to be.

you do not feel or know you googling....that is another way to get conditioned by society, no?! When you can not relate you should not give advice. Well of course what do I know....I have been to Tibet and have seen and experienced more than you could give me credit for and I am from a family of practicing buddhists so no need to give me advice googling rubbish online....keep that for your own enlightenment.

If you have been to tibet and familiar with it, then why would you say that "you should not give advice." So everyone should stop giving advice to everyone else. No one tells them to look at a different level? It is a big step, it really is. and it is not easy.

The typical Buddhism beliefs dismiss the main factors, and mostly leads to further confusion for those who are in the path of truth. They hardly ever actually talk about actual Buddha's teachings except "be compassionate, don't be greedy, don't get angry"... so on. People dismiss it, and never really think of looking at it.

I was speaking of actually HOW to remove your greed, your anger. That big step. The whole big permanent shift which Buddha had spent his life to find. Don't be greedy is his conclusion, but what people also don't realize is, whenever they desire something, it is a greed as well.

Greed is believing you can change everything.

Desire is believing you can change something.

He said to not desire or have a "need", I can assure you 90% of the people who follow Buddhism, aren't aware of this. Attachment -> Desire -> Expectation -> Disappointment -> emotional unstability - > escape (drug/stimulants) ... the cycle begins.

More complex than that, but that's what it is basically.

My parents are Buddhists also. I see a big difference and it is much same as most other religions, worship something and have hope that it will bring you happiness. Dismissing a conscious change.

A great well known spiritual enlightened master, known as Nithyananda, actually said that assisting people to unclutch (de-attach) would be one of the greatest contributions to the universe. I am sure it would be heads up for many.

A lot of feelings thrown around here, but can we try divert it back to the original question? Sorry.

This is very left field and I have no idea what my stance is on this, but when researching how the gut affects acne I briefly skimmed across a sentence that said our mood can influence the level of certain compounds our body generates and I began to draw analogies.

Incidentally, I do suffer from a moderate level of depression and anxiety that are not necessarily caused by my acne but other elements in my life. It's hard to actually rationalize this as a reason though, since it's very difficult to try and think back what my mood was like when my skin was clear and not clear etc. And even then, I know I've had moderate/severe acne for many years now and am a bit skeptical that psychology ON IT'S OWN would have such a detrimental effect to my skin, even if it exacerbates it a bit.

Probably a long shot, but can anyone say with some degree of certainty that a shift in mood made a NOTABLE difference in their skin?

Hormonally speaking yes it can be. All depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain which can be caused by bad diet.

Typically though, the depression experience with acne is mainly down to how people react to their acne that can cause depression.

it's an awful, awful cycle.

acne-depression-anxiety-fear..... it repeats itself over and over.....

one reason i stopped popping antidepressants...still haven't gone back to my psych...... am really concerned of those meds having acne as side effects....

since i stopped meds... i just de-stress myself in my own way......
