Hi, anyone has experience with Vitamin A 10,000 IU once a day?

I am trying it out (has been 3 days), and it seems to help.

I was on low-dose accutane (10 mg), and the effects of Vitamin A seems to be similar to low-dose accutane, just even milder.

Never had any help from Vitamin A. I even upped the dosage to 100 000 - 200 000 IU / day for a while.

Retinol? I've been doing 50,000+ IU's and it's been treating me well, Beta Carotene won't do much though. For the higher doses I'd suggest staying away from alcohol, and using a good Sillybin (Milk thistle extract) supplement as well as NAC a couple times a day for some extra insurance.

Yes retinol. Tried it 2 years ago I had quite good control with zinc at the time when I tried it though, wanted to see if it had any additional benefit. Can't say I noticed any difference.

I might give it a shot again though because the type of acne I have has changed and it doesn't respond to zinc anymore.

No, never heard of it. Carotenoids like beta carotene can. But taking loads of vitamin A can be dangerous, never consider it without consulting your doc first.

Yeah I don't think anyone should be using that high of a dosage of vitamins. Make sure it's not more than recommended daily.
