Hmm... seems pretty conflicting, but I would personally lean more towards yes, it should not effect your acne. I don't know how healthy these reviewers are though. The best thing you can do is avoid it for now, clear your acne through diet and lifestyle, and then introduce it to your diet little by little by little. I know that it's high in fat and people can make oils out of coconut for cosmetic purposes, but that's all the info I have on it.

Have you tried almond milk? It's pretty bland so a good replacement. Or oat milk? Oat does have gluten in though so depends if you are cutting that out too. Rice milk? There's plenty of other options besides coconut. I use coconut milk and oil in smoothies sometimes, but almond is my usual substitute.

My skin was clear for 3 weeks this month after following an exclusion diet, then a load of stressful stuff happened at the same time, my diet crashed (I started having wheat, dairy and sugar again) and now I am breaking out again, so diet definitely has an effect.

Cocounut milk is high in sugar and almond milk is goitrogenic. You can have it if you don't break out or else you can have organic plain yogurt.

I could never find a brand of coconut milk that didn't contain a lot of xanthan gum, guar gum, or carageenan. All of those additives in high amount give me terrible indigestion...

I have not had problems with Natural Directions Almond Milk, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, and Rice Dream.

Blue Diamond Almond Breeze in Original flavor is the absolute best. I love it! I have been drinking almond milk for about a year now, and I find it to be much tastier than cow's milk.

Coconut Milk has no sugar whatsoever, even yoghurt has more. Perhaps you're thinking of Coconut Juice, which is the water inside the Coconut. Even then it's hardly got any sugar (still less than yoghurt) and the electrolytes and potassium more than make up for it, it tastes amazing.

Coconut is great, but obviously like every food you want to find some that actually IS coconut, just read the labels. Everyone should know this by now.

I eat tons of Coconut Cream with no additives and it's great. It can be very filling though.

I drink coconut water almost every day. Made home made coconut milk a few times and thought it was pretty sweet.

Make it yourself from dried coconut. See the drink recipe thread found in the Food and Recipe thread pinned under important topics.

Coconut Cream is everywhere here, in every supermarket in the "exotic" section with seaweed. A few brands have added crap but there's a nice clean one by Ayam that tastes amazing and is 100% coconut. Just check the labels.

That is very true indeed. It's Xanthan gum, from what I've noticed that gives me indigestion. Theres a sauce that have xanthan gum, whenever I cook with it, it would always give me indigestion.
