I did some research about the cause of pale stools, and I found many websites that said the same thing. Here is one of them:

http://www.livestrong.com/article/432355-pale-stool-diet/

Basically, bile causes the stool to turn a healthy brown color, and when bile is blocked, the stool turns pale or clay-colored. This means the ACV capsules are somehow blocking my bile. That is not good, since bile is needed for the proper absorption of fats.

I have a bad feeling about the ACV capsules I am using. So far I have experienced only negative effects. Normally I would use something for at least a few weeks to see if it works, but I might stop taking ACV soon. As of now, I will still use it, but I might decide to stop using it in the next few days.

What's your diet like?

I would say my diet is moderately healthy. I avoid dairy, fast food, soda, and candy. I regularly eat chicken, some fish, nuts, oatmeal, beans, bread, and pasta, and I eat fruit and vegetables at least once per day. Sometimes I have unhealthy things like burritos or fish sticks, because I don't want to constantly worry about what I eat.

Right now I am trying to get clear, or at least mostly clear, without going on an extreme diet. I am really skinny and I don't want to lose any weight, plus I don't want to be on a strict diet my whole life. I know a healthy diet has helped you, but I am looking for a better way right now. At the moment I am definitely not willing to give up soy, wheat, gluten, grains, etc. Maybe I will try a strict diet later if I can't get mostly clear with supplements.

I don't think my diet is causing my pale stools, because I only started getting them after taking ACV capsules. It's like the ACV is making my digestion worse, even though every website about ACV says it makes digestion better.

if it gets stuck in your throat, it may cause an ulcer.

drink pickle juice, its acetic acid too. but acv is good as well.

vineger=acetic acid.

acetic acid is used to experimentally induce colitis by scientists studying inflammatory bowel disease, because many pathogenic bacteria produce acetic acid, therefore, it be used to induce colitis(inflammation), but that doesnt necessarily mean its bad for you, only in high quantities it is.

i would say one tablespoon for a short term like two weeks, is pretty safe, but that is just an opinion.

ditch the pill form i suggest.

I'm done with ACV pills. They are giving me new side effects every day. Since yesterday I have had a constant stomach pain. ACV is clearly not the supplement for me. I hope it works for everyone else.

The one I found (and have been taking) in the house is Great Value and doesn't have 'the mother' in it.

Is Braggs available (or another brand with 'the mother' at a local grocery store or Wal-Mart/K-Mart?

I used to get Braggs organic apple cider vinegar. I got it from our local Publix grocery store. They'd also have them at health food stores. Not so sure about Walmart. I usually don't shop there because I'm not too sure about there organic section. If they have one.

Why don't you try actual apple cider vinegar? Like mix into a salad ? Or use on top of foods. Dr. Oz said it's great with slowing the absorption of sugars . So it's great for diabetics.

The pills taste really gross to me, and I would assume the liquid is much stronger. I think if I used the liquid form I would still get the same side effects.

I'm sure Dr. Oz is smart, but I think those Dr. shows are more about entertainment than actual learning. I'm not saying he is wrong, I'm just saying there are better places to get information. And I'm not diabetic.

Lol. I wasn't saying you were diabetic I just meant that it could benefit you in using it on foods in that way. But I used to put it on salad and didn't have a problem with the taste. Maybe it's just me =/

Everybody is different. If you have no side effects, it doesn't mean I will have no side effects. You also said you haven't had any results yet. Having no side effects isn't a reason to use something, it has to actually have positive effects.

Back then I wasn't using it for skin clearing benefits. I didn't even know it had skin clearing benefits. I just used it on my salad because it's healthy. I stopped using it because I haven't been able to find it at my grocery store. I actually looked for some today a few hours ago when I went to the store but I was unable to find some. However, the next time I go to our Whole Foods Market I'll have to pick some up there.

well i was just giving my opinion as to any 'side effects' while i am drinking it, because im thinking maybe it being in pill form has a link to your side effects instead of getting it organically in a liquid. also no i havent had any results yet but im only on day ten and from recent post ive read people said to stick it out much longer to see results..

I didn't mean to be rude, it's just that I got side effects from ACV in pill form so I think I would get them from ACV in any form. I hope it works better for you.

Do you mean using the Head and Shoulders shampoo on your face? I never heard of that, I'll have to look it up.

Yeah as long as you are not getting side effects it is a good idea to keep using ACV for a few weeks.

Where is everyone else? Did you all abandon this thread? I'm not even using ACV, but i still want to know if it works.

I know I stopped using it after only a week, but if you don't have any side effects and it's not making your acne worse, I think you should keep using it for at least a month. That way you will know if it works or not, and you will not waste the 12 days you already spent on it. If I didn't have so many weird side effects I would still be using it...

thanks for the support bro, cause honestly it hasnt really made my acne worse nor has it really helped.. and i just ran out but i think ill go ahead and go to the store and get some more tomorrow, ill still keep you updated but i just ordered my african black soap! it should be here right after christmas, im really excited about that from all the good reviews people say about it. ill probably fit it into the regimen with acv and not stop using acv. have you ever tried black soap?

My acne got a little bit better when drinking acv as well as applying it on my skin before going to bed. Sadly, I got lazy about it. I think I'll start it back up tonight. Btw I have cystic acne too with hyper pigmentation

No lol where do you keep getting these topicals?

It would probably be best to use one thing until you see if it works before you use something else. That way you can know exactly what is working for you and what it does.
