IgE antibodies are involved in the immediate type reactions like hives, swelling, anaphylactic shock, etc. The kind most people, doctors includes, consider allergies.

IgG, IgA and other antibodies are involved in other delayed type reactions and sensitivities.

It's okay guys, I think it was after I consumed yoghurt due to it's deceivingly low GI but insanely fucking high insulin index (just found out).
