Hey niacin is pretty incredible. I don't even need to explain, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

This was me on Saturday:

I started taking Niacin Sunday, yes thats right 48 HOURS AGO. This is me today:

I never expected it to work this well.

I don't take this but vitacost is by far the cheapest. I live in Canada and shipping is usually only around $4. It's routinely 50-80% cheaper than anywhere else for almost anything you can think of.

I am taking Vitamin B Complex 100. This Niacin concept is very intriguing and I would like to give it a try. Just wondering if I can take it with the B Complex I am already taking.

I can't see how it would be a problem since vitamin B is water soluble so the body just flushes out what it doesn't use.

It should help if anything. I am taking a B Complex as well, but I am just about to start on Inositol Hexanicotinate. Good luck.

when niacin is turned into niacinamide in the body, thats when the flush and the toxicity occurs. When you use time released niacin, the toxic something is in the body for much much longer than it would be if it were just a regular pill, and the liver has to deal with it the whole time. Just thought id add that :) and damn asn6, that is absolutely AMAZING!

hey guys i have a question

For those who took the Niacin with flush, how long did it take for the flush to actually appear?

I took a 250 mg tablet 2 and a half hours ago, and didn't experience the side effect yet. I'm thinking about taking another tablet during lunch. is that okay?

i'll do the pics. i think its worth it. i'll post it up in about 15 min

edit

crap.......my sister just came back and brought over her friends and there is absolutely no way i'm going out of my room. Because of this sry guys I can't do the pics

I took my first 250 mg Niacin tablet and within 3 hours my complexion looked perfect, they way it has and should always be. Up until a year ago my face would turn red easily after exerting a little effort, through laughing, through intense thinking and concentrating (like on an exam) or even at the slightest moment of being embarrassed. And believe me guys this is MUCH worse than acne.

After the 3 hours I took another Niacin tablet and about 45 min later, I felt a strong burning sensation first on my ears, then it spread to my arms, legs, everywhere. I've got a low tolerance for pain so I was writhing around like crazy. Its all a deep red color too. Only my fingers, feet, and a portion of my butt are unaffected. It looks like I reached well above the saturation point. But then again what if all these side effects are because of the first tablet i took this morning? Its gonna be a long night..........

Yeah, you want to build up to 500mg, and the flush sucks when it actually hurts. It feels good when it's gone htough.

I just went to the store and all they had was 500mg no flush kind. Is this ok to take right away without working up to it? I took it tonight and am feeling ok for the most part.

thats perfectly fine. The no flush kind is time-relelased so it stays in the liver longer while getting released bits at a time.

I've taken two pills so far, both the same kind you have without building up to the dose, and I'm still alive, so  must be ok :)

Upon a December

The no flush 500 mg Niacin is the type most people have been having success with. You made the right choice. Plus you don't get the crazy flush. It's pretty intense, I did the Flush niacin first. I like the no flush much better for that reason and the fact that I've gotten better results with it.

Good luck

I'm taking 500mg of regular Niacin from GNC....The Flushing isnt as bad of people say it is. I get red and burn but it feels like it's killing off my acne LOL.

So far so good with the Niacin experiment...So many things have not worked this is my last resort.

Thanks AcniBoi. I've never heard of Inositol Hexa before.

I have a bottle of vit b3 at home, but in the form of 'Nicotinamide' 500mg. I've read that it's just another name for Niacinamide and I think it doesn't cause flushing. I would get Niacin, but I don't think I can find it in Australian stores. We suck so badly. You can't even find good quality supplements here and if you do they are sooo pricey, nearly $50.

god i know what you mean, but dont worry about getting niacin, niacinamide (nicotinamide) should do the job, i got a bottle of 250 500mg tablets of that for $22 :) But i wouldnt mind getting the inositol kind if i could find it, pm me for a link to the palce where i got the tabs if you want it :)
