It says that saturated fat increases IGF-1 and a plant based diet is a better way to go for acne. Is this something I should follow? Thanks

The website didn't provide any citations for the claims it made. So, I wouldn't go blindly trusting it.
It also fails to mention the indigenous populations with high-fat diets that are also "largely free of acne."

Diet is very individual; upping your saturated fat intake may help your acne, the only way to find out is to try it. At first, it helped me, but now if I take in more than a certain amount it hinders my progress. If you do go the sat. fat route though, I'd highly recommend consuming QUALITY fat (ie from pastured animals or quality coconut oil).
Yes, I think so for some people. There were discussions in the past with people saying avoiding fats clearing their skin. And with plausible reasons and research. I don't remember what they are, because it doesn't seem to apply to me. But hormones are made from cholesterol, after all. Perhaps that's one reason.
You should also avoid polyunsaturated fats, though, as these turn to trans fats in addition to being too high in omega 6.

You should not avoid all saturated fat.

Those are fine. If you think you have a problem digesting fats, you can try to improve it. There's some info on tat in te good thins thread.
